Team Spotlight: Chaeyeon Park | Law Clerk

Meet our new law clerk, Chaeyeon!

Originally from Korea, Chaeyeon went to an art high school before moving to the U.S. to study political science at UC San Diego. Now, she's wrapping up her 2L year at California Western School of Law with just one more year to go.

Chaeyeon has always wanted to help people understand their rights and advocate for others. 

“When I first came to the U.S., there was a time when I didn't speak any English and faced setbacks. This lonely and challenging experience now allows me to truly empathize with our plaintiffs and be the compassionate advocate they need during one of the most traumatic times of their lives. I want to help as many people as possible using my legal knowledge and make lasting contributions to this society."

Fun facts:

1. Chaeyeon loves all things theater – musicals, opera, ballet, you name it.

2. She speaks Korean and Japanese, and even minored in Chinese.

3. She’s a big fan of sci-fi novels.
