Restaurant Safety Tips

🚸Restaurant Safety Tips🚸

Life-altering injuries can happen anywhere, even in seemingly harmless places like restaurants. Here are reminders to help prevent injuries:
👉Watch Your Step: Be cautious of wet or uneven surfaces or food scraps on the floor.

👉Report Hazards: If you notice any potential hazards, inform the property owner or staff immediately.

👉Handrails Are Your Friend: Always use handrails when available, especially on stairs and ramps.

👉Hot Spills: Be cautious when carrying hot food & beverages, especially around others or in crowded spaces. Look around you. People may bump into you.

👉Spill-Proof Pitcher: Restaurants should use hot water/tea pitchers with a secure lid with a locking mechanism or a tight-fitting seal to prevent spilling or splashing.

👉Treating Burns: Immediately place the affected area under cool, running water for at least 10-20 minutes. Avoid using ice or very cold water, as it can further damage the tissue. Call 911 immediately if severe.
